EAST PALESTINE – Dorothy J. Brookhart, 93, of McClure Avenue, died at 1:30 a.m. Friday, July 20, 2001, at Blossom Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Salem.
She was born in Paulding County, Ohio, April 18, 1908, a daughter of the late Walter and Stella Miracle Moorman.
She was a homemaker and a member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn J. Brookhart, and a son, Edgar Brookhart.
She is survived by a daughter, Nancy L. Hill of East Palestine; a son, Robert Brookhart of Port Charlotte, Fla.; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
The Rev. H. Gene Toot will conduct services at 11 a.m. Monday at the Van Dyke-Swaney Funeral Home. Burial will be in Indian Springs Cemetery, Punta Gorda, Fla.
Friends may call at he funeral home from 10 to 11 am. Monday.
