CHESTER – Anna Marie Ciccarelli, 101, of Carolina Avenue, died Friday, July 20, 2001, at the Robert E. Boyce Pavilion at City Hospital.
She was born in Forty Fort, Pa., Aug. 24, 1899, a daughter of the late John and Maria Zuppa.
With her husband, she owned and operated the former Ciccarelli Grocery Store on Carolina Avenue. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Chester.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ildebrando Ciccarelli , and her son, John Ciccarelli.
She is survived by four sons, Angelo J. Ciccarelli of Chester, Harold E. Ciccarelli of Pittsburgh, Carl A. Ciccarelli of Chester and Virgil Ciccarelli of Los Angeles, Calif., a sister, Loretta Bianco of Philadelphia, Pa.; 13 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Father Rodger Hughes will conduct a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church. Burial will be in Shadow Lawn Memory Gardens.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester, with a Christian Scriptural Service at 6.
